My Own Journey from Burned Out to Burn Bright

After navigating my own burnout and a medical crisis, I rebuilt my life and leadership from the inside out. Today, I bring 20+ years of HR leadership, lived experience, and a deep understanding of human reinvention to support clients who are ready for their next chapter.

My work isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about realignment, clarity, and emotional safety. Whether through 1:1 coaching, my Clarify framework, vision board workshops, or the Burn Bright Not Out newsletter, my mission is simple: To help you burn bright — not out.

Why I Do This Work

Because I know what it feels like to be the strong one — the reliable, high-achieving, keep-it-together person — quietly burning out behind the scenes.

I’ve lived the cost of pushing, proving, and people-pleasing until my body and spirit collapsed. My burnout became a medical crisis that forced me to stop, reflect, and rebuild my life from the inside out.

That reinvention journey led me here.

Today, I support leaders and professionals who are exactly where I once was: tired but high-performing, capable but overwhelmed, ready for something to change but unsure where to start.

I do this work because no one should have to navigate the messy middle alone.

My Story Begins in the Messy Middle

For years, I pushed through my own burnout.
Pushing.
Proving.
People-pleasing.
I wore these habits like armor — until they nearly cost me everything.

A medical crisis stopped me.
But what truly transformed me was the realisation that I had drifted so far from myself, from my purpose, from the leader and woman I wanted to be.

My healing wasn’t a straight line — it was a season of reinvention.

I rebuilt slowly:
learning to pause, to set boundaries, to redefine success, and to choose a life that allowed me to burn bright, not out.

That experience became the foundation of my coaching work today.

  • create healthier boundaries for better outcomes both at work and at home (relationships).

Rewriting the script on overwhelm and burnout increases my clients' capacity to become more in tune with their personal needs.

Empowering my clients to engage in courageous dialogues with key stakeholders to foster healthier boundaries and higher-performing work environments.

By taking care of their needs authentically, my clients become more engaged with their teams, co-workers, families, friends and communities.
